Speaking of curves, molded nylon shanks lift and support your arches to prevent muscle strain. Nylon shanks are not made with metal, so they are more lightweight but every bit as strong. Lightweight EVA foam has been compression-molded to create a cushioning frame for every step. An air cushioning pocket has even been put in the heel to absorb the shock from painful foot strike.
